White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has said the only way there will be a delayed election is if every American votes by mail. On Sunday, Meadows explained President Trump has not looked into pushing back election day.
He claimed if the U.S. moves to 100% universal mail-in voting, the results would take months to sort out. He used the recent election in New York as an example.
“We don’t have to look any further than New York to see what a debacle mail-in ballots have been,” stated the chief of staff. “We have weeks and weeks of delay as to who the winner is.”

Meadows continued by saying it is important to handle the election correctly.
He has suggested using absentee ballots to ensure a ballot goes from an individual to the ballot box without someone else having the ability to commit fraud.
