Officials rule Robert Fuller’s hanging death a suicide

Independent investigators have reported there was no foul play in the hanging of a Southern California man. On Friday, the family attorney for Robert Fuller confirmed the 24-year-old committed suicide back in June.
Fuller’s body was found hanging in a tree near Palmdale’s city hall earlier this year. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department initially ruled the death a suicide, but protesters urged them to look into foul play.
The findings of this additional investigation came just one day after local authorities reaffirmed their suicide ruling.
“He was also determining if Robert Fuller had been drugged in any fashion,” explained attorney Jamon Hicks. “During his examination, Dr. Pietruszka made the following observations: there were no areas of contusions, bruising or hemorrhaging significant enough to suggest foul play.”
According to the attorney, the family is grieving and trusts the results of both investigations.
